Etsuko NISHI
	1955〜 Kanagawa pref. ■I kept searching for glass with a soft, delicate warmth without particular pre-conceptions and found a method of layering glass (pate de verre). The challenge now is how to manage the shapes, angles and harmony of all the layers.

activity： 1986〜"Solo Exhibitions",Ginza Matsuya, Heller Gallery, Habatat Gallery, Marx Saundoers Gallery, etc. Invited to the exhibitions in Japan, Europe and USA. 1997　Graduated a Foreign exchange student scholarship from the government of UK and studied in England. 1999　M-Phil（Master of Philosophy）program with a major in glass at the Royal College of Art, London. UK 2005〜 Parttime instractor at the Osaka University of Arts 　　　　　collections : The Hokkaido Museum of Modern Art, Koganezaki Glass Museum, Corning Museum of Glass, Musee Des Arts Decoratifs in Paris, etc.
