■I kept searching for glass with a soft, delicate warmth without particular pre-conceptions and found a method of layering glass (pate de verre). The challenge now is how to manage the shapes, angles and harmony of all the layers.


activity:
1986〜"Solo Exhibitions",Ginza Matsuya, Heller Gallery, Habatat Gallery, Marx Saundoers Gallery, etc. Invited to the exhibitions in Japan, Europe and USA.
1997 Graduated a Foreign exchange student scholarship from the government of UK and studied in England.
1999 M-Phil(Master of Philosophy)program with a major in glass at the Royal College of Art, London. UK
2005〜 Parttime instractor at the Osaka University of Arts
     collections : The Hokkaido Museum of Modern Art, Koganezaki Glass Museum, Corning Museum of Glass, Musee Des Arts Decoratifs in Paris, etc.
